How it works
- Concrete is cleaned of oil, grease, dirt, and liquid; surface is profiled for adhesion.
- Moisture testing is performed; a vapor barrier is used when the slab needs it.
- Cracks, fissures, and uneven areas are repaired and leveled.
- Primer / base coat is applied, then the decorative system (solid, flake, quartz, metallic, or glitter).
- Topcoat — epoxy or polyaspartic — locks in the finish for traffic, UV, and chemical resistance.
- Cove base can be added for seamless wall-to-floor transitions where the job calls for it.
- Ventilation matters during cure; stay clear while coatings are wet and off-gassing.
- Polished concrete follows a progressive grind (full 10-step or an affordable 2-step grind and seal).
